Abortion, Mr. Tate and Andrew.

Hey guys, I made a little dialogue on abortion. This was a civil dispute I conjured up in my head, and imagined what I'd say if ever I found myself in this position. This is the revised version of my original one. I hope you like it, please let me know. I love hearing and reading your comments!

Abortion, Mr. Tate and Andrew
Do you think it fair, Andrew, to lie to women, who come into your clinics with all kinds of various reasons, for an abortion? Do you think it right to lie to them about the procedure in order to get them to sign a consent form?
If they have already made the decision to have an abortion…what does it matter if I lie to them to get consent? I’m just reinforcing the decision she has already made. And what is fair in this unfair world? Nothing is fair, Mr. Tate.
Why would you want them to consent to murdering a life? Doesn't that make you feel anything at all? You are right when you say nothing is fair in this world. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have to try and be fair, even though nothing is fair. Am I wrong?
It is not yet a life, it is still in the womb. It is a piece of flesh. And no, I guess you are not wrong, you have a point in that.
But in Isaiah 49:1, the LORD says he calls us from the womb, and has us named. That states, that children in the woman are indeed a life form, a human being. Wouldn’t you agree, Andrew?
Mr. Tate…If I knew that the scripture you read from was the only one out there. Then yes, I would agree. But there are many versions of scriptures out there, Mr. Tate, how can you be sure that yours is the right one?
Andrew, those other scriptures are twisted and distorted views of the only one true scripture out there. They lie and deceive, and aren’t even the scriptures. Scriptures like the book of Mormon, or or what Cathalics read...they sound so similar to ours, but they take it out of context, make up their own rules and laws from it. If you read the scripture that I read…you’d know that it’s indeed the one true scripture out there. It makes sense, and it is not a set of rules, but only truth is spoken in them, truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mr. Tate, if I may, if a woman goes out and has an unplanned pregnancy and has absolutely no desire to keep the…the…child…why wouldn’t we help her abort it? The child will just grow up in misery, knowing that either mom or dad, or both, hate him/her.
Andrew, you fail to understand that whether the parents want their child or not, it is not up to them to take a life that is not theirs to take. Only God has the given right to take anyone’s life. It is not up to us to make these decisions. This child, any child, should be given the chance to live their life. Whether the parents hate him/her or not, this child should be allowed to grow up anyway. No matter the situation, he/she can decide for themselves what they’re going to take from their situation to allow them to grow as a being. Becoming someone better than what his/her parents were? Wouldn’t you agree, Andrew?
I guess, in a way I do, Mr. Tate, I will be honest thought, I am now confused, but what you say makes a lot of sense, and I guess I need to re-think why we-abortionists-do what we do. Mr. Tate, can I ask you something?
You can ask me anything, Andrew.
Why are you so passionate about this matter? Why fight so strongly for those without a voice?
Because, Andrew, I was of those unwanted babies….I was supposed to be aborted. But by the grace of Almighty God above, someone spoke into my mother and father’s life, just as I am doing now.
Mr. Tate, it’s a hard road of hatred toward you that you travel on. What keeps you going?
Andrew, with God on our side, who can stand against us…he called me, from my mother’s womb, and he had me named. –Isaiah 49:1
