Slaughter House
         Dear Abortionists,
It seems as though the pitch you try to sell is that abortion is the perfect solution for women who have unplanned pregnancies.  It’s easy, quick, and pain free, plus this baby is not a baby. This baby is a flab of skin. That’s like saying, ‘There is no God, and I hate him!’ Such a false statement! Abortionists say that the baby won’t feel a thing, (I thought they were flabs of skin?) and neither will the mother. Wrong. Abortionists say that it is not yet a baby. You abortionists are forced to lie to women, telling them that they are not yet babies…don’t you feel anything at all when you lie to their faces like that? The mother will feel the pain, regret, and dirty sinful deed she has committed, for the rest of her life! Not only to her as the mother but also to; her father, and her parents, and her friends, whether they choose to admit it or not. ‘It’s not yet a person’ you say. ‘It’s ok to kill her before she is out of the womb,’ you vote. I’ve read articles and stories from women that abortion does indeed hurt physically and emotionally. Countless women have shared that you will never ever forget the sound of the vacuum as it sucks the baby out…that it is does not hurt, in order to go through with the consent forms. When in reality, it is indeed a child that you are murdering, and convincing mothers to ok the murder, therefore becoming an accomplice. You suffer from severe physical cramps. And the emotional pain never goes away…you will feel that pain the rest of your life. The only stories of women not regretting abortion are few and are women I think, who don’t have a heart. Children are indeed people, and they are still people, whether they are in the womb or not! Statistics show that the teen abortions that happen around the world happen per 1,000 females between the ages of 15-19 years of age. In 2006 there were 52 unintended pregnancies for every 1,000 women aged 15-44. In other words about 5% of reproductive-age women have an unintended pregnancy each year! By age 45 more than half of all American women will have experienced an unintended pregnancy and three in 10 will have had an abortion. In this day and age, the commandment, ‘do not murder’ is taken way too lightly! Matthew 5:21-22 states; “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘do not murder’ and anyone who murders will be subject to judgement. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgement. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca’ is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘you fool!’ is in danger of the fire of hell.” Murder is an understatement in my own opinion. “The LORD called me from the womb, from the body of my mother, he named my name.” Isaiah 49:1. “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward! Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth!” Psalm 127:3-4. This is manslaughter and I know that Our Heavenly Father’s heart is broken over ‘the complacency in our culture over the murder of those without a voice.’ –Weston. The proportion of pregnancies that were unintended remained essentially between 2001 (48%) and 2006 (49%). Babies in the womb without a voice are still people. Therefore people in the industry-abortionists are running a slaughter house, and that makes abortion manslaughter.

Light

The inspiration behind this poem actually came from me working the night shifts at the beet dump. Strange? Maybe so, but my parents and friends are worrying that I'm overdoing it. Or that something could happen to me, since everything changes at night. It can be scary; it is more dangerous, weather wise, and lack of light wise, and you have many tired co-workers. The risks become greater at night. So when I sat down to write my assignment, I thought of a topic (I usually think of topics before I write something) and I thought of light. So I started writing about, the dark, and that though dangerous, and scary, there is still safety and light in darkness as well. So I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think. :D

Light
Darkness has come tonight like a curtain.

Flowers halt their blooming and start to freeze.

While the sun sets, turning off like light bulbs.

Fear strikes hearts and souls like daggers piercing flesh.

The light brings forth safety to us always.

But don’t have fear, for there always is light.

The moon brings light to dark...like a flashlight.

It burns as a candle, with a bright flame.

Sanctus Real-Lead Me

Hey guys, powerful powerful song, done in a husband's perspective on his role as leader, protector and provider over his family and household. Heard it in church, as it was shared with our congregation. And  I really really appreciated it. Ladies, even tho, we are not in the stage of life, where we can get married without weird looks, ;) lol, this song can help us prepare for the future. Why do we want to rush into relationships? Just because of hormones and emotions telling us to? Why not wait for a man out there who will lead us like Christ leads the church. I know it's hard waiting...but it is well worth it, and I hope you can see that! In the same way, young men, This song can help you open your eyes, and take the challenge offered to you by the LORD. To step up and be a man, and lead the way that Christ is calling you to lead. It's hard, and it's scary, but it is something, that will bring you pride and joy when you decide to fulfill this role! Have a good week. Enjoy!

Weston
Weston Scott, the name strong and sound has a powerful presence like that of the rushing water from a waterfall, that falls and thins out into a gentle stream at the bottom of a mighty cliff. The man behind this name leaves an impression you are surely never to forget. His voice speaks in the tone of the unforgettable sound as the water falls and meets the water of the lake below, a sound that will leave you wanting to hear more. Hearing the roar leaves the hair on your arms raised, and if you look closely, leaves goose-bumps in its wake.  His voice strong and sure of the passions that he speaks about, also has a soothing and calming affect…to broken souls in need of help. As you watch the force of the water move down into a stream and start to slow down, you look around wondering what keeps the water at bay. You notice that though the water is powerful and can be quite destructive, it is made safe. The rock formations surrounding the lake and following on both sides of the stream, keeps the water fenced in. Wherever the rock leads, the water follows.
Like Christ resembles in Weston’s life. He is made strong from the Lord, who leads his life. The water is fenced in, not because it is forced, but because it wants to be. The restriction does not make the water any less powerful or weak. The rushing of the waterfall is like that of the passion in his life to live and lead in Godliness, to serve wherever needed. The slowing of the mighty water, flowing into a gentle stream, is like that of his soft soul from the teaching of the spirit. The way the water flows around and caresses the rocks which sit in the middle, is in the way his blue eyes hold the sincerity of a smile. And in the genuine love and care for the people who sit in the center of his life, and in the students he teaches. The waters strong and gentle like his heart resemble the compassion for a broken world. The way the water is always there, never leaving is like the love for the fellow believers who are the support and encouragement in his life. His loyalty and word always holding true, Weston Scott is like that of the rushing water from a waterfall that slows and thins out into a gentle stream.
